The Institute of Analytics and Advocacy became a member of the “Window of Recovery” to provide high-quality coverage of Ukraine’s reconstruction

Mariia Mygal

Our organisation, the Institute of Analytics and Advocacy, joined the UA Recovery Window MediaNetwork following an open call with more than 130 participants.

The UA Recovery Window MediaNetwork was launched in January 2024 as an initiative of seven independent co-founding organisations. Regional and all-Ukrainian media and think tanks have joined forces to monitor and transparently cover all aspects of Ukraine’s recovery.

From now on, the Recovery Window is a network of more than 70 independent media, NGOs and think tanks.

“The Recovery Window” goal is to:

  • To network journalists, experts, and community leaders. To create synergy for qualitative changes.
  • To control the processes. To expose corruption, analyse expenditures, and conduct investigations.
  • Explain the complex in a simple way. Conduct research and turn expert knowledge into a clear action plan.
  • Tell local stories, highlight the problems of both individuals and entire regions.
  • Strengthen the discourse of recovery. Emphasise the importance of powerful change. Provide opportunities for people and organisations that create them.

As members of the network, we will create a range of relevant materials on the topic of recovery, as well as have access to the learning opportunities of the association and cross-sectoral experts and analysts.

All the materials of the network will be available on a separate aggregator website, which will allow us to expand the range of our readers. In addition, Window on Recovery will assist in the distribution of materials on the topic of reconstruction in social media.

Please follow Window of Recovery on Facebook, Instagram and Telegram.

The task of the Recovery Window is to provide high-quality and transparent information about the recovery of all affected regions on a single platform and to jointly advocate for the necessary changes. The Institute of Analytics and Advocacy is happy to join this work.
