Research on the practices of rebuilding countries after destruction: Afghanistan
Afghanistan is a long-suffering country that began to recover from decades of war only in 2001.
The United States and its partner countries have invested billions of dollars in its reconstruction.
Over the past 20 years, the country has made progress in several areas. Girls have started attending schools and universities, human rights have become more important, independent media have developed, and the middle class has prospered.
