Research on the practices of rebuilding countries after destruction: Afghanistan
Afghanistan is a long-suffering country that, after decades of war, began to recover only in 2001.
The United States and its partner countries have invested billions of dollars in its reconstruction.
Over the past 20 years, the country has made progress in several areas. Girls have begun attending schools and universities, human rights have become more important, independent media have developed, and the middle class has prospered.
However, the reconstruction of Afghanistan has not been successful. Why? Read our article to find out.
