Mariia Mygal

Soon Ukraine will be free from the racist troops, and when that happens, the country will need to be rebuilt.

The IAA team is researching the practices of rebuilding different countries after destruction. This will help us to select effective cases that can be used in Ukraine in the post-war period to accelerate reconstruction and stabilise development.

The first country in our study is South Korea. The three-year war with North Korea destroyed about 80% of their industrial and transport infrastructure. However, South Korea is now an “Asian tiger” with a strong economy.
