This study is an attempt to collect a database of ongoing reconstruction projects and analyze their progress, explore trends in community recovery, and identify obstacles that stand in their way.
The study focuses on two key questions: how is the organization of reconstruction in the regions going and how well are these processes being financed?
The paper examines the extent of damage caused by the hostilities and approaches to assessing it, analyzes open-source reports on local and national reconstruction initiatives, projects, and programs that help communities. In addition, the note collects information on existing ways to attract and allocate funding for reconstruction.
The proposals developed within the study focus on optimizing the planning and coordination of reconstruction processes, primarily on the introduction of mechanisms for systematizing information on war damage and further monitoring progress in projects that are being implemented or planned.
