Meeting with EDI providers on the implementation of e-consignment note

A meeting was held with EDI providers to discuss the current status and next steps for the implementation of e-consignment note.

On 12 January, Anatoliy Komirnyi, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation, and Anton Zinchenko, Digitalisation Project Manager at the Institute for Analysis and Advocacy, met with representatives of electronic document management providers to announce the completion of the e-consignment note system and further plans to introduce the electronic consignment note.

As it was announced during the meeting, this year the use of e-consignment note will become mandatory for all freight transportations of a general group of goods carried out by road, and from 1 February, businesses will have time to fully implement and test the electronic waybill.

The e-consignment note system is being implemented in partnership by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the USAID/UK aid TAPAS Project/Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services, with the participation of the NGO Institute for Analysis and Advocacy, which is the administrator of the e-consignment note system for the duration of the project.
