For the IAA, Ukraine, and the entire world, 2024 was, without exaggeration, a turning point. Political and economic turbulence in the United States extended far beyond its borders, reshaping development trajectories and strengthening the European Union’s role in supporting Ukraine during the full-scale war unleashed by russia.
The past year was no exception — on the contrary, it deepened the hostilities and enemy attacks, particularly on civilian infrastructure. Yet this did not become a reason to pause. Instead, it served as a catalyst to intensify efforts toward rebuilding the country, engaging international partners, and reforming legislation and state institutions in line with international and European standards. This year brought us closer to EU membership.
The IAA has established itself as part of the team implementing GovTech in Ukraine, not merely as a matter of obligation or assurance to our European partners, but as a core strength — an area where we lead and act as a capable partner. It is also where we see tremendous potential in bringing our victory closer in a war where, for the first time in human history, technology has come to the forefront.
