Regional targeted programmes as a tool for recovery. Infrastructure and human capital

To eliminate the consequences of Russia’s daily attacks, Ukraine’s regions need solutions in the “here and now” format. Розроблення програм комплексного відновлення областей і територіальних громад є тривалим процесом. Натомість місцева влада регіонів має альтернативу – регіональні цільові програми. Supplementing them with appropriate measures makes them one of the main tools for restoring human capital and infrastructure.

The policy brief will be useful for civil servants, executive officials, and experts in the field of regional policy and recovery of Ukraine. The study aims to assess how actively local authorities are using such instruments as regional targeted programs to restore regions.
