Project objective

To promote the development of a culture of political and civic engagement, critical thinking, and the ability to seek reliable information, analyse and draw conclusions among ordinary citizens.

Relevance of the project

The war in Ukraine has shown that our citizens are willing to defend democratic values even at the cost of their own lives. By educating the younger generation with an activist type of political culture, we are helping to promote the democratic path of development not only in Ukraine but throughout the region.

Project results

• The concept of a pilot 5-module training course was developed;
• Offline implementation of the course with a focus on analysing practical examples from the Ukrainian and global context of victories and defeats and discussing the theoretical foundations of the processes that are based on this;
• Graduates and students of the course will be able to be effective leaders in their communities and groups in the future, to spread the ideas of participatory democracy in the process of forming communities and the state. Thus, our society will receive leaders with pro-European views and a reformist mindset.
