Project objective

To promote the resilience and adaptation of CSOs to the new realities and working conditions in the wake of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Relevance of the project

February 2022 “turned” the lives of every Ukrainian upside down, and these critical changes have undoubtedly affected the non-governmental sector as well. Some focused on humanitarian and military assistance, others adapted to the new conditions within their field of work, and some were on the verge of ceasing operations altogether. It was at this time that the issue of sharing experiences between those who had adapted quickly, survived and could support and teach other NGOs to stay afloat, and those who had not yet been able to find a point of support and stability for further effective activity, became very acute.

Project results

  • a survey of CSOs in Poltava region to determine the impact of the full-scale war, developed infographics and a report;
  • 3 trainings (“Fundraising: grants and cooperation with business”, “Reporting for CSOs” and “Value intelligence in team management”);
  • 3 organisations additionally received mentoring and consultations on organisational development;
  • held a final non-firming meeting where we presented the results of the survey and the project and shared problems and current projects where we can strengthen each other.
