Donors Guide Book (1st review)

The RISE Ukraine coalition united to promote the principles of integrity and participation for Ukraine’s reconstruction and development, building accountability mechanisms for reconstruction, timely disclosure of data, just compensation for the inflicted damages by the aggressor, development of digital solutions for reconstruction, and involving citizens and businesses in the planning, monitoring and oversight.

In our international cooperation work we frequently engage with delegations from various nations eager to contribute to Ukraine’s rebuilding and recovery efforts. These delegations often inquire about the existing challenges, explore potential partners within the civic sector, and seek insights into opportunities in different areas. Recognizing the recurrent nature of these inquiries, this guidebook serves as a comprehensive resource, offering concise answers to frequently asked questions across eight selected thematic areas of Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction. Drawing on insights derived from 9 focus group discussions conducted between late 2023 and early 2024, this guidebook aims to foster collaboration between donors and Ukrainian NGOs, providing valuable guidance for resource allocation to ensure effective reconstruction efforts.
