Project objective

Increasing the organizational, advocacy and analytical capacity of civil society institutions working in the areas of public health and budget advocacy in the countries of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region.

Relevance of the project

Most NGOs do not have practical expertise in budget advocacy. At the same time, there is a great need for it on their part. This is especially true for NGOs working in the service sector.

Project results

• NGOs use the advocacy skills acquired during the training;
• The influence of the public sector on government decision-making in the field of budgeting is strengthened;
• Increased influence of the public sector on solving urgent problems of society in the countries of the EECA region;
• Increased level of democracy in the countries of the EECA region.
