The previous analytical material in this series was about grant funding for recovery. This material was devoted to obtaining funds for recovery through local borrowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The policy paper analyzes the latest trends in attracting credit financing by communities for infrastructure needs, identifies obstacles and shortcomings in this process, and suggests options for solving them.<br>The analytics will be useful for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>local governments wishing to attract credit financing for infrastructure projects in the community;<\/li><li>legislators and executive authorities that develop and implement state policy in the field of local borrowing and decentralization;<\/li><li>Lenders, including IFIs, to track the latest trends in attracting loans and guarantees for local infrastructure projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Please note!
