With the start of the full-scale invasion, support for Ukraine from international partners has grown significantly, not only in the form of funding from IFIs and other international organisations, but also thanks to a large number of smaller initiatives aimed directly at municipalities and local projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the growing activity of donors in working with communities, there is currently no unified electronic information system for recording and coordinating such assistance. The IAA has created a structured open database<\/a> of international support for Ukrainian communities. It covers the period 2022\u20132024, with partial consideration of initiatives that began in previous years and initiatives for 2025. This is the first attempt to systematise an important process that has remained scattered until now. As part of this report and database, we have collected 500+ aid initiatives from 160+ donors and systematised them according to more than 10 key parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is important to note that this is the first edition of such a report. At this stage, we do not claim to be complete and exhaustive (although we have put a lot of effort into this). Instead, our goal is to initiate a systematic approach and provide a tool that can serve as a basis for better coordination, regular updates and analysis, and which can potentially be transformed into a unified information system for registering, accounting for and monitoring aid, with electronic information exchange with other state registries and ICS systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
