Germany became the fifth country in the study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The defeat in World War II divided Germany into 4 occupation zones controlled by four different states. Unemployment and inflation consumed the country, but economics professor Ludwig Ehrhardt managed to create the German economic miracle.
